Ackers Residential Centre

Ackers Residential Centre (ARC) is a purpose built accommodation set in 70 acres of semi rural land that is Ackers Adventure, a centre for outdoor adventurous activities, just 2 miles from the centre of Birmingham.
The ARC has 9 sleeping rooms, 4x4 and 5x2 all Bunk beds, a fully equipped kitchen, refectory area with chairs and tables and a recreation room with a TV & DVD player, games and comfy seating. Facilities include ample secluded parking, showers and changing rooms, disability lift, self catering kitchen, function room, picnic and BBQ area. All groups get sole use of the ARC.

On site the centre offers a 100m dry ski slope, toboggan slope, climbing walls, archery courses, zip wire, canoeing & kayaking on the Grand Union Canal (which runs straight though the site) and much more. Instructor led activities and lessons are available and can be pre-booked before your stay subject to availability. A stay at Ackers Adventure could also be combined with a visit to the famous Balti triangle, The Sea Life Centre, Cadbury World, Thinktank, The Bull Ring shopping centre, National Motorcycle Museum, the NEC as well as art galleries, museums, clubs, restaurants and theatres. Please note bedding is not provided. BYO sleeping bags.
